According to the report by the Women in Leadership Advancement Network (WILAN) Global, women hold just 4.5% of National Assembly seats, occupy only 8 of 48 federal ministerial positions, and have very limited roles in the country's top 50 companies. The findings also point to opportunities for progress through targeted policies, advocacy, and leadership development programs.
