Zimbabwe has paid just over 500 million dollars to white former commercial farmers as part of the country's ongoing efforts to resolve a decades-long- land dispute and t-o rebuild investors trust. The payouts are part of a 3 point 5 billion dollars global compensation agreement that was signed in 2020. The agreement covers about 4000 commercial farmers. Some of the farmers have rejected the compensation and payment structure.
