The Zambian government and the family of former President Edgar Chagwa Lungu have signed a consent order nullifying the ex parte ruling issued on 22 April concerning custody of his body. The agreement was reached in the Pretoria High Court on Thursday, following last week's dispute in which Attorney General Mulilo Kabesha asserted that the state had assumed control of the body, citing the family's failure to pursue their Supreme Court appeal.
