We continue our focus on not just South Africa's Youth Day commemorations, but also the continent's observation of the Day of the African Child today (June 16). While the smoke still hung over Johannesburg, the shockwaves of that fateful Wednesday instantly reverberated across the Zambian border. Many of the South African anti-apartheid activists fled to many parts of Zambia as the apartheid government sought to crackdown on the unrest. Peter Ndoro spoke to historian and political analyst Dr Euston Chiputa for a Zambian perspective on this shared history and it's meaning today.
