The World Wide Fund for Nature, WWF in South Africa says it's strongly opposing a new move to mine in the country's West Coast National Park based in the Western Cape Province. A phosphate mine owned by African Rainbow Capital, is seeking to mine inside the boundaries of this National Park.

The WWF has caught wind of plans by Kropz, a mining company owned by African Rainbow Capital (ARC), which is seeking permission to mine a phosphate deposit within the borders of the  Park.
