Dr Thami Mazwai together with the University of South Africa (UNISA) will launch the first book on black entrepreneurship in the country's township of Soweto (its name is an acronym derived from South-Western Townships).

The aim of the book is to galvanise young people to emulate their pioneers to conquer the misery of poverty and unemployment in black communities.

The book titled - "The Journey of the Soweto Entrepreneur since 1905" lets the reader in on the struggle and experiences of early black business pioneers who, in spite of the harsh laws of Apartheid pushed through, and today remain an inspiration to many.
