Teachers will struggle to effectively translate the curriculum into action in the classroom if there's a lack of support to address their knowledge gaps and their adverse classroom conditions.

This is according to UNESCO's recently released report "Learning Counts"  which highlights the crucial need for improved teacher support - particularly through better-designed teacher guides.
