The United Kingdom has hailed the UK-South Africa SMME Forum as a key driver of inclusive economic growth and innovation.
Speaking at the event held at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Tuesday, His Majesty's Trade Commissioner for Africa, John Humphrey, described the forum as more than just an event, calling it a strategic platform that strengthens bilateral trade and empowers small and medium-sized enterprises.
Humphrey highlighted the vital role SMMEs play in creating jobs and driving wealth, noting their importance as the backbone of both the UK and South African economies.
