The Cultural and Creative Industries Guild of Africa ( CCIGA) and the National Film and Video Foundation( NFVF) held a two day workshop this weekend to empower creatives in the film industry in Johannesburg, South Africa.
CCIGA says despite the industry contributing about sixty billion to the Gross Domestic Product of South Africa the industry remain unregulated leaving creatives with the challenge of securing permanent jobs.
