The trial of the former Democratic Republic of Congo president, Joseph Kabila, is expected to begin today. A military court will hear charges including treason and murder linked to his alleged support for Rwandan backed M23 rebels. Meanwhile, The DRC and Rwanda have signed a new agreement to support the voluntary return of refugees, following intense talks mediated by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR in Addis Ababa.
