The International Committee of the Red Cross is hosting its inaugural Global Conference on Military Personnel Identification - in South Africa's capital Pretoria
The event convenes over 60 representatives from armed forces across more than 40 countries - and aims to leverage battlefield experiences to formulate international guidelines designed to minimize the number of military personnel who are unaccounted for or unidentified.
