The 8th Global Women's Trade Summit concluded in Johannesburg, South Africa.

It was the first time that the two-day event was held in the African Continent.

The focus was on empowering rural women through access to global Markets, examining the gender dimensions of trade policies and agreements.

The organisers say the summit was more than just a gathering but rather it was a platform for forging new connections, nurturing partnerships, and creating a shared vision for a more inclusive global trade environment.
