The bodies of 45 Botswana citizens who died in a horror bus crash in April in South Africa's Limpopo province have been repatriated.
The process was led by Limpopo's Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba and social development MEC Nandi Ndalana alongside Botswana high commissioner Dr Sanji Monageng on recently, at the Polokwane International Airport. Some of the bodies were burnt beyond recognition following the crash.
A sole survivor of the crash, an 8-year old girl, was admitted to hospital and has since been reunited with her family in Botswana. The crash took place when they where on their way to Moria for the easter gathering.
