Sudan's war and its impact to the country's culture, heritage and infrastructure

Sudan is still in the midst of deadly civil war that broke out in mid-April between Sudan's army and the paramilitary Rapid Response Forces (RSF).

The war has devastated the capital Khartoum causing destruction to not only citizens, but to the country physically, economically, socially and culturally.

Most recently, the iconic Greater Nile Petroleum Oil Company Tower was engulfed in flames. To discuss the war's impact to the country's architecture is Prof Amira Osman - Research Chair in Spatial Transformation at Tshwane University of Technology....
