South Sudan Battles Worst Cholera Outbreak Since Independence

South Sudan is battling its largest cholera outbreak since independence, with tens of thousands of lives at risk over the past two years.

Co-ordinated efforts by the Ministry of Health, WHO, and partners have brought new cases down dramatically and delivered millions of vaccines.

We now speak to Dr Aggrey Bategereza, Emergency Preparedness and Response Team Lead in South Sudan, about the current situation, the response on the ground, and the lessons learned so far.
