South African consumers are showing resilience in their daily financial management, with the Nedbank NedFinHealth Index reporting improvements for the third consecutive year.
The index indicates that while households are becoming steadier in managing their spending, borrowing and saving habits, many still hold concerns about the future, particularly when it comes to long‑term financial planning, retirement readiness and broader economic uncertainty.
