As International Nurses Day is celebrated today (12th of May) South Africa's Mpathy Clinics are empowering nurses by giving them the opportunity to run private clinics. Mpathy Clinics are nurse-led, low-fee primary healthcare facilities creating opportunities for nurses to own and operate clinics in township communities. This year's World Nurses Day is celebrated under the theme " Our Nurses, Our Future, Empowered Nurses Saves Lives" .
