Mpathy Clinics are nurse-led, low-fee primary healthcare facilities creating opportunities for nurses to own and operate clinics in township communities. This year's World Nurses Day is celebrated under the theme " Our Nurses, Our Future, Empowered Nurses Saves Lives" . Botswana and Rwanda are taking another major step toward African regional integration after signing a new migration agreement that will allow citizens of both countries to travel visa-free for up to six months. The announcement was made by Botswana's President Duma Boko during the recent state visit of Rwandan President Paul Kagame to Botswana. President Boko praised Rwanda's decision to remove all visa requirements between the two nations, describing it as an exemplary. Channel Africa's reporter Micheal Mbewe filed this report.

The Uganda Law Society says there is a direct connection between the deepening crisis in Uganda's justice system and the events unfolding in Kampala City since the beginning of last week. It says while the military has locked down the city centre and foreign guests have been invited to the inauguration of Yoweri Museveni as the president of Uganda, the actual constitutional and legal requirements for the declaration of a winner in the presidential election of 15 January 2026 have not yet been fully met. Tsepiso Makwetla spoke to  the Deputy president of the Uganda Law Society  Anthony Asiimwe.
