As South Africa observes Child Protection Week this week, Save the Children South Africa says it feels compelled to address the horrific surge in ritual and muti murders of children across the country. The child rights group says the recent cases of Joshlin Smith, Kutlwano Shalaba, and Likhona Fosa have sent shockwaves throughout the southern African nation, exposing the dark underbelly of a culture that sacrifices its most vulnerable members in the name of harmful traditional beliefs and superstitions.
