The KwaZulu-Natal Tourism and Film Authority in South Africa has joined forces to strengthen a partnership with SA Tourism and the National Film and Video Foundation to guarantee that the province is prioritised for marketing as a film, business, and leisure destination.

Interim CEO - Sibusiso Gumbi has emphasised that tourism is a key growth sector in the country's economy, generating employment opportunities and alleviating destitution among other things.

He added that the challenge will be to increase tourism to achieve the objective of 21 million visitor arrivals by 2030.
