To mark 30 years of South Africa's democracy the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg has partnered with the Ifa Lethu Foundation - a non-profit heritage organisation - to showcase an exhibition of selected historical artworks by Black Artists, whose work could not be displayed during apartheid.
They ensured the repatriation of the artwork from sixteen countries around the world.
Channel Africa reporter Sisi Segalo visited the museum and filed the report.
