The president of MSME Chambers in South Africa formerly Small and Medium Enterprises chamber of commerce Noah Debeila says that Ethiopian businesses in South Africa contribute a lot to the South African economy with nearly 20 to 30 percent retail ownerships controlled by Ethiopian citizens.
Debeila was speaking at a two-day South Africa and Ethiopia Business Forum hosted by Azanyah Hub in Collaboration with the MSME Chambers Johannesburg, South Africa.
He said his agency is addressing the pressing issues brought by locals regarding how Ethiopian businesses can be legalised and regulated.
