A national convention which will set the agenda for South Africa's much anticipated national dialogue will be held on  August 15. 

President Cyril Ramaphosa appointed a 31 member team to form the Eminent Persons Group that will guide the national dialogue.

 Ramaphosa says the dialogue would not be a one-time event but in phases, starting from local consultations and sectoral engagements, and then proceeding to provincial and national gatherings. Sibahle Motha reports

Asanda Beda spoke to Dr Imtiaz Sooliman, founder of the Gift of the Givers- a humanitarian organisation.

He was appointed by the President to be part of the Eminent Persons Group that will guide the national dialogue, as well as Seth Mazibuko, one of the most prominent leaders of the June 16, 1976 Soweto uprising....
