Rwanda has moved to reassure the international community that it remains free of Ebola infections despite ongoing outbreaks in neighbouring Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda. Speaking during a media briefing in Pretoria on Wednesday, Rwanda's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe, said no Ebola cases have been recorded in Rwanda and stressed that the provinces of eastern DRC bordering Rwanda are also free of the disease.
