The Foreign Affairs Ministers of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo are expected to travel to the U.S to sign a peace deal today. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio expected to witness the ceremony. The long-awaited peace agreement is said to be a step toward ending months of intense fighting in the DRC.The conflict has ravaged eastern DRC, claiming thousands of lives and displaced hundreds of thousands of people.
