The conclave to elect a new pope to lead the world's 1.4 billion Roman Catholics is underway at the Vatican. The doors of the Sistine Chapel were closed on Wednesday, signalling the start of a secret conclave, where 133 cardinals from around the world will elect the new pope. The result of the first vote is expected soon, but the process can take a few days. Joining Asanda Beda is Father Russel Pollitt, Jesuit priest and parish priest of Holy Trinity Church in Braamfontein.
