A large law enforcement contingent is gearing up outside the offices of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees - in Pretoria - to evict a group of refugees - camped outside there since 2019.

The refugees are mostly from the Democratic Republic of Congo - Burundi - and Kenya.

The fifth edition of the hospital show is expected to take place in Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa (SA), this week.

Namibia's Supreme Court has dismissed a legal challenge filed by opposition parties against last year's presidential election results, clearing the way for Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah of the ruling South West Africa People's Organisation (SWAPO) to assume office this month.

SWAPO, which has governed the Southern African nation of approximately three million people for over 30 years, secured victory in both the presidential and parliamentary elections held in November.
