President Chapo's visit to Malawi aimed at strengthening existing relations

Malawi and Mozambique have opened the first-ever One-Go-Border Post whose infrastructure is designed to streamline cross-border trade and movement. 

The inauguration comes a day after the two nations signed three agreements aimed at streamlining trade and travel between the two neighbouring countries.

Malawi's President Lazarus Chakwera and the visiting Mozambican President Daniel Chapo presided over the opening of the infrastructure.

 In Malawi, this border post is located in Dedza district. In Mozambique, it is located in Calómue in the Administrative Pots of Ulongué, in Angónia district, Tete province. George Mhango reports from Blantyre.
