On the 30th of October, Botswana's citizens head to the polls, where six political parties will compete for 61 seats in the National Assembly, along with 609 local council seats, using a first-past-the-post constituency system.
One of the parties, the Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF), led by Mephato Reatile, has stated that if they win the elections, their focus will be on job creation and poverty alleviation through a "liberal welfare democracy."
To discuss their plans further is Mr. Carter N. Morupisi, Chairman of the BPF.
