It's time now for The Discourse, and this Friday we're focusing on a new pan-African campaign that is calling for a shift in how communities express solidarity. Across many parts of Africa, people often come together to support families after the death of a loved one. But the Love One Another Alive campaign, led by NGO PEHE and its partners, is encouraging communities to show that same compassion and generosity while people are still alive and in need. Inspired by African values such as Ubuntu, the initiative seeks to strengthen community solidarity and promote a culture of helping before it's too late. To tell us more this morning, we spoke to  Cedric Faizan, Resource Mobilization Officer at NGO PEHE, a non-governmental organisation that promotes human development, community solidarity and social cohesion across Africa. He joins us from Entebbe, Uganda.
