Across Africa, the conversation around wealth taxation is gathering momentum. The urgent need to tax high-net-wealthy individuals to curb inequality and boost public revenue has found support among global leaders and experts.
Oxfam Africa, in collaboration with the Tax Justice Network Africa, recently hosted a webinar titled, 'Taxing the Rich in Africa'-where notable speakers from finance ministries, tax authorities and advocacy groups came together to discuss how best to tackle this issue.
