Namibia extended voting in the presidential and parliamentary elections by two days in areas affected by procedural delays.

The presidential and National Assembly elections on Wednesday, were marred by a series of technical malfunctions and dwindling ballot papers, forcing scores of voters to queue for hours.

Opposition political parties in the country are threatening a court challenge over the credibility of the election.

Offshore hackers have stolen 62 billion Ugandan shillings an equivalent of 16.8 million US dollars from Uganda's central bank.

The hackers, identifying themselves as -Waste, reportedly accessed the Bank of Uganda's IT systems and illicitly transferred the funds earlier this month.

It's reported that the hacking group is based in Southeast Asia and has sent part of the stolen money to Japan.

It also reported that the central bank successfully recovered over half of the money from the hackers.

In response to the cyber-attack, President Yoweri Museveni has ordered an investigation.

Zimbabwe Exemption Permit or ZEP holders living in South Africa have until today to apply for a waiver or transition to a General Work visa.

The deadline was extended following a court rulling earlier this year after migrant advocacy groups argue that Home Affairs backlogs have made meeting this deadline nearly impossible.

Those who fail to secure the exemption permit by the end of the day are at a risk of deportation.
