Research Fellow at the University of South Africa (UNISA) says most state owned enterprises in Africa are struggling to fulfil their social and commercial objectives.
This is due to a number of problems ranging from the non-balanced board structures, corporate governance and political interference amongst others.
He was speaking at the last day of the State Owned Enterprise conference hosted by MILLA SA held in Johannesburg, South Africa this past Friday.
