This week, more than 250 media outlets protested Israel’s killing of journalists in Gaza. Reports indicate that over 270 journalists have been killed in the enclave since the war began in 2023.
Meanwhile, anti-government protesters in Israel set fire to cars, tyres and rubbish bins in Jerusalem, including areas near the home of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Thirteen demonstrators were arrested after climbing onto the roof of the National Library.
This comes as Israeli forces intensify their attacks on the outskirts of Gaza City.
