Current Cape Town Mayor, Geordin Hill Lewis has taken the top spot, pledging to build the party into the largest in the country. In his acceptance speech to two thousand delegates at the DA's Federal Congress in Midrand, Johannesburg on Sunday, he also commit to ensure that his party shapes the direction of govenment to reflect the DA's values.
