Authorities in Eswatini are investigating a shocking incident involving a senior member of King Mswati III's security detail. Lieutenant Colani Mdluli, who was part of the King's military protection unit and assigned to provide security for visiting Southern African Development Community Heads of State, allegedly shot and killed himself in front of official guests. The incident has raised serious questions about security protocols, the wellbeing of personnel tasked with high-level protection, and the circumstances leading up to the tragedy.
