Kenya's deputy police chief Eliud Lagat has temporarily stepped down from his position as investigations into the death of a blogger Albert Ojwang continues.
Ojwang died in police custody, his death has led to national protests.
Two senior police officers and a closed-circuit television technician, who had been called to dismantle the CCTV at the police station, have also been arrested in connection to the death of Ojwang. Human rights activists in the country have called for a national protest against President William Ruto's government .
