Kenya probes deaths of 18 Amboseli elephants as toxic substance suspected; four people held for questioning

Kenya is investigating the deaths of 18 elephants in the Amboseli ecosystem, with preliminary laboratory findings pointing to the possible involvement of a toxic substance. Four people have been apprehended as persons of interest, while investigators continue to pursue further leads. The Government says the investigation remains active and that scientific evidence will guide the process.
