South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa has appointed Gauteng Province Judge President Dunstan Mlambo as the country's new Deputy Chief Justice.
He takes office today, stepping into one of the highest judicial roles following the retirement of Acting Deputy Chief Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga.
Judge Mlambo is well known for his leadership of some of South Africa's busiest courts and his efforts to reform the Labour Court.
