South Africa's Ambassador to the United States says the land issue is a pretext for further engagement with the Trump administration. Pretoria's envoy, Ebrahim Rasool was reacting to Trump utterings that sought to criticize South Africa's policy on land expropriation. Trump threatened all future funding from the United States to South Africa.
