Today is International Stand Up to Bullying Day. Celebrated annually on the last Friday of February and the third Friday of November coinciding with coincide with Anti-Bullying Week.
According to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization , a significant number of children and adolescents around the world face school violence and bullying including cyberbullying, which adversely affects their health, well-being and education. Unfortunately, its effects are often profound, leaving children feeling isolated, anxious, and demotivated.
