Medical experts warn that Hospital Acquired Infection or HAI, will become the leading cause of human death. HAI affects patients admitted to a hospital or other health-care facility, and is caused by disinfectant resistance - which not many people are aware of. He spoke on the need to fight disinfectant resistance, a discussion held this week by PMB health and Safety Services at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
