Women across the continent are significantly underrepresented in many spheres, from political decision-making, challenges in areas like access to finances and land ownership.
A pan-African initiative dedicated to addressing this, by bridging the gap between ambition and opportunity for emerging African women leaders was recently launched. HER Circle, the debut salon-style event heralding The HERitage Collective concept is described as by one of the conveners as a disruption & a space that not only invites women to the table challenges them to design the table themselves.
