Around the world, those who expose corruption and wrongdoing often face serious risks, despite efforts to strengthen legal safeguards. What can be done to better protect whistleblowers, and what lessons can countries learn from international experience?   Tsepiso Makwetla spoke to Dr Dimitrios Kafteranis, Assistant Professor of Law at Coventry University, Co-Founder and Director of Research at the European Whistleblowing Institute, whose work focuses on the legal protection of whistleblowers in the European Union.
