The Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, says the G20 must address the financial injustices facing developing nations including unmanageable debt, unfair tax systems, and insufficient access to financial resources.
Guterres added that by enhancing multilateral banks, the G20 can provide better support and financial infrastructure to help countries navigate these obstacles, ensuring a more balanced global economic system.
He made these remarks at the finance the G20 Sherpa, Finance, and Central Bank Deputies meeting, held in Sandton, Johannesburg - South Africa.
