Former deputy president of South Africa's Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), Floyd Shivambu was appointed as the new Mkhonto weSizwe Party Secretary General on Sunday.
Shivambu's elevations comes less than two months after he ditched Julius Malema's EFF for former President Jacob Zuma's MK Party.
Shivambu's appointment as MK Party SG followed the resignation of Dr Sifiso Maseko as the organisation's secretary general.
