Wits University in South Africa (SA) in partnership with the Roy McAlpine Charitable Foundation has donated over five million US dollars towards the expansion of the only burns unit in Gauteng province.

The multi-million-rand facility now boasts 12 new Intensive Care Unit Beds, a theatre, and research department.  

The Unit will service people from across the country and the Southern African region - as Channel Africa's Sisi Segalo reports.
