Nigerian prosecutors have arraigned five men accused of the 2022 attack on a Catholic church in Owo, Ondo State, which resulted in at least 50 deaths and over 100 injuries. The suspects—Idris Omeiza, Al Qasim Idris, Jamiu Abdulmalik, Abdulhaleem Idris, and Momoh Otuho Abubakar—appeared in a federal high court in Abuja facing terrorism charges. They pleaded not guilty and were remanded in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
