Tension is simmering in Mozambique, as the country awaits the announcement of the Constitutional Council in relation to the election results.
The Council is expected to make public its conclusion on Monday.
The country has been marred by chaos as thousands took to the streets protesting against the October 9 presidential election results, that declared Daniel Chapo of the FRELIMO party as a winner.
Opposition parties have rejected the results and the leader of the Optimist Party for the Development of Mozambique 'PODEMOS' Venancio Mondlane has called on his supporters to escalate the protests.
