It's a hive of activity with various events taking place in Tanzania ahead of the annual Thabo Mbeki Africa Day lecture on Saturday .

The lecture, to be held under the theme, "The State of the Continent," will take place at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre. It is hosted by the University of South Africa (Unisa), in partnership with the Thabo Mbeki Foundation (TMF), the Government of Tanzania and the Mwalimu Nyerere Foundation. 

This morning invited guests will travel to Morogoro, a city located in the eastern part of Tanzania. To discuss this further we are joined on the line by Lukhanyo Neer Chief Operating Officer at the Thabo Mbeki Foundation.
